ABOUT US
We are Sheffield Rangers Junior Football Club. The club was founded in 1975. The home of our football club was originally O'Rourke Park, Wadsley.
This was home to many football teams and players, with some players going to have long professional careers including Jon Beresford (Newcastle United and England) Julian Watts (Sheffield Wednesday).
The club moved its home in 1999 to Jubilee Sports and Social Club, Claywheels Lane. The club has continued to thrive at its new home and is looking forward to developing this in the future.
CLUB MISSION STATEMENT
Our aim at Sheffield Rangers Football Club is to create an environment where football can be played and enjoyed by all, regardless of age, gender or ability.
We aim to be recognised as the leading football club in South Yorkshire and we will strive for excellence not only on the pitch but also through our coaching, volunteering and reaching out to the local community.
We want to provide facilities and coaching of the highest standard to ensure that those playing and watching are proud to be a part of Sheffield Rangers Football Club.
At Sheffield Rangers, we want to nurture our players and ensure excellent retention levels by developing a club that has good facilities, outstanding coaching and a fun social environment.
